About CSE Registry

Open infrastructure for compliance signal interoperability, built for the community and free forever.

Our Mission

DataHubz created CSE Registry to advance compliance infrastructure for all organizations. We believe compliance should be accessible, standardized, and interoperable, not locked behind proprietary formats and vendor silos.

Our Vision

We envision a future where compliance becomes foundational infrastructure for all organizations. Where security tools speak the same language, findings translate seamlessly across frameworks, and organizations can focus on improving their security posture instead of reconciling incompatible data formats.

The Registry

What is CSE?

CSE Registry provides a neutral, machine-readable common language for compliance signals. It defines over 1,100 canonical signals across 12 frameworks, with mappings that connect these signals to regulatory controls.

This enables security tools, GRC platforms, and compliance teams to communicate findings unambiguously, regardless of which tools generated them.

Open Source

All signals, mappings, and schemas are available under the Apache 2.0 license. Use them freely in commercial products.

Community First

The Community tier will be free forever. Compliance interoperability should be a public good, not a competitive advantage for any single vendor.

Subscription Funds Community

Revenue from Pro, Teams, and Enterprise subscriptions funds ongoing maintenance, expansion, and stewardship of the Community API.

Philosophy

Open by Design

CSE Registry is open source and the Community tier will be free forever. We believe that compliance interoperability should be a public good, not a competitive advantage for any single vendor.

When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are not just getting features. You are investing in open compliance infrastructure for everyone.
